We are blessed because Chocolate loves us.  We are blessed because she is 11 years old AND COUNTING. 

Everyday watching her chest move up and down as she breathes and her paws twitch as she dreams.  We are blessed.

I know you love car rides and love to feel the wind through the car window.  Let's do that more often.  It's a promise.

Like a Caterpillar?

Now that she's old with heart murmur and arthritis/hip dysplasia, according to her new vet, Chocolate cannot swim vigorously only can paddle paddle...we still want her to enjoy swimming, so we got her a Ruffwear Performance Life Jacket - K-9 Float Coat. 

Chose a dandelion yellow, received it today and let Chocolate try it on and I thought it looks so good on her! But then,  the daddy says she looks like a caterpillar. LOL.  

11 Years 3 Weeks 3 Days

This little old girl brings us joy every single day for the past 11 years 3 weeks and 3 days and she will continue to do so. Cannot even imagine a single day without her.

You are a good girl, Chocolate.

It is pretty much standard for Chocolate's birthday every year. Outing(swimming is her favorite), celebrate with a cake baked by me of course and then just chill at home. Unfortunately we did not bring her to a dog-friendly cafe after the swim as planned, partly because I have been coughing for weeks already so not much energy left. I also felt guilty for letting someone else bathe and blow-dry her after the swim.....but Chocolate took it all in her stride. She's such an angel, so gentle, so kind, so sweet and always enjoying her moments and be happy. 

You are a good girl, Chocolate.

T H R O W B A C K

Many precious moments are actually in between the thousands of photos we have.  Reasons being we can't always have the camera with us and of course at times that "moment" just come and go in a second.  However, it is those un-captured moments that are most dearest to our hearts.

Today, our Chocolate is 10 years, 7 months, 3 weeks and 3 days old.
